Scriptable is an automation tool that allows users to write scripts that integrate with native features of iOS, such as files, calendars, reminders, and documents.

An extensive widget support feature enables users to create their own widgets using JavaScript and run the scripts on their Home Screen. These widgets can display any data and can be customized to fit the user's preferences.

Siri Shortcuts functionality allows users to present images, tables, and more in Siri, as well as have Siri read aloud a text when a script is executed through a Siri Shortcut.

The app also offers a growing gallery of scripts to help users get started with Scriptable. Some examples of scripts that can be created include asking Siri about the status of a web service, creating a widget that shows data from a weather station, managing calendar events, checking TV schedules, managing a movie watchlist, uploading files to an image optimizer, receiving weather reports as notifications, creating pre-filled todos in a favorite todo app using URL schemes, and more.
